HOW WE GOT HERE
One good season turned into a company.
2015
The experiment
We add volcanic silica to our soil beds. Best season ever: no mites, no root rot, no mildew, nothing broken.
2016–17
Proving it wasn't luck
Season after season, treated beds outgrow untreated ones. Neighboring farms start asking for buckets.
2018
Silica Earth is born
We start milling and bagging the mineral for other growers, same source, same grind we use ourselves.

THE SOURCE
One deposit. Shallow, hydrothermal, ours.
The mineral comes from shallow hydrothermal deposits in Southern Oregon once treasured by Native peoples of the region. We mine it, mill it to 2–4 microns, and bag it, no brokers, no blending, no mystery inputs.

We use everything we sell
Every formula runs on our own beds first. If it doesn't earn a place on the farm, it doesn't get a bag.

Silica is armor, not magic. We'll tell you what it does, when it shows up, and when it's not the right tool.

A human answers
Emails are answered from the farm, usually same day. Problems get fixed with a replacement, not a form.
